Our Process

• Information Gathering: We start with an in-depth conversation and exchange of information

• Design Phase: We then go to work to establish a design concept, develop space plans, determine a color palette and make design selections

• Design Presentation: Once complete, we present everything, along with a budget for your approval

• Implementation: Finally, we complete the project by handling the ordering and installation of everything down to the finishing touches.

Recent Projects

Dena Kareotes Arendt, is a degreed interior designer with 20+ years of industry experience. After working in the computer industry for several years, she left the corporate world to start a new career. She enrolled in design school and got a job working with a local interior designer to get a first-hand look at how the industry operated. Inside Ideas was founded soon after she completed her degree.

Dena keeps busy after working hours by serving on the Advisory Board for the School of Interior Design at the College of DuPage and the Dean's Business Council at the Tabor School of Business at her alma mater, Millikin University. Dena is actively involved in her local community and serves as Lead Delegate for the Hinsdale Area Panhellenic Association and Commissioner for the Downtown Economic Development Board. Dena resides in Clarendon Hills with her husband Jon and their daughter Alexandria.
